As leader of the CoMMAS team (Computational Mathematics and Modelling for Applied Sciences), my primary task is to assist our PhD students scientifically and administratively. Therefore, I am involved in a variety of projects, which mirrors my scientific background:

I studied physics and mathematics at KIT. My diploma thesis at Communications Engineering Lab (CEL) was on modelling ad-hoc wireless networks using stochastic geometry. My PhD was on the nonlinear Schrödinger equations and modulation spaces, which have applications in data transmission over optical fibers. Subsequently, I was involved in teacher’s education at TU Dresden, preparing and giving lectures, exercise and tutorial classes, and managing the teaching assistants and the tutors.
