Workshop

Catalysing Collaborations. Key competences for conducting interdisciplinary research.

Friday, 16 May 2025, 9:00-12:30
Campus South, tbd

The seminar will take place on May 16 and May 23, 9:00 to 12:30h.

Interdisciplinary collaboration is increasingly important in both academia and industry. While such collaborations offer great potential for innovation, they also present challenges: unfamiliarity with other disciplines, differing perspectives, and technical jargon can hinder effective communication and knowledge exchange. This seminar introduces key concepts and strategies for interdisciplinary thinking. You will explore the benefits of cross-disciplinary work, gain insight into the challenges of integrating different knowledge domains, and learn practical tools for effective communication, idea generation, and knowledge synthesis. The workshop is designed for researchers already engaged in interdisciplinary projects as well as those looking to enhance their ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Jointly offered with our friendly neighbor graduate school ENZo.
